Harrow Hong Kong Children School Shenzhen Qianhai was honoured to participate in the prestigious Reception for I&T Awards 2024, organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission of HKSAR on 15 July, 2024. This recognition stemmed from the school’s outstanding achievements at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions earlier this year.
The Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, known as the ‘Olympics of Innovation,’ showcased 1,035 inventions from 38 countries and territories this year. Led by the Head Master Dr John Tan and instructor Antony, Harrow Hong Kong Children School’s team was the youngest gold medal recipient, representing the only primary and secondary school from the Chinese mainland.
Since its establishment in September 2023, Harrow Hong Kong Children School Shenzhen Qianhai has excelled in STEAM education. Their participation in the Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition and Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions resulted in two gold medals and valuable connections with top talents from around the world within just a few months since the school was opened.
The school’s participation in this prestigious event represents a milestone of its achievements. We take immense pride in being recognised as a leading school in Greater Bay Area’s vibrant innovation and technology landscape. Our unwavering commitment to nurturing future-proof talents remains at the forefront of our educational mission.
