On 16 December 2022, our four Harrow Innovative Leadership Academies (HILA) in China and Harrow International Schools Limited (HISL) officially signed the Senior Schools Sino-Foreign Cooperation Agreement. It signifies that HILA Chongqing, Haikou, Nanning and Zhuhai will be able to offer senior school education – Grade 10 and above in the most legitimate and compliant manner, preparing our students for top universities in the world.
Mr Mel Mrowiec, Chairman of HISL, Governor of Harrow School, Mr Daniel Chiu, Founder of AISL Group and other representatives from the Board of HISL, AISL Group and Schools, witnessed this significant moment.
Our relationship with HISL has always been a genuine and purposeful collaboration. All AISL Harrow Schools proudly look to the 450-year heritage of Harrow School as our guiding principles, embracing the Values of Courage, Honour, Humility and Fellowship. These Values anchor our holistic educational approach that focuses on developing the whole child through personlised care and support.
With such a solid foundation, the AISL Group further drives progressive initiatives. The Harrow Innovation Leadership Academies have proudly become part of our growing family since year 2020 when we started to integrate our educational thinking and methodology with the wisdom of traditional Chinese culture to offer a unique, internationally oriented, and distinctively designed bilingual curriculum to teach the compulsory Chinese National Curriculum content. The aim of the bilingual and bicultural education at HILA is to produce students who possess Chinese characteristics with a global perspective. As high achievers, our students have the option of applying to and continuing their studies at top universities around the world.
The signing of the HISL/HILA Senior Schools Sino-Foreign Cooperation Agreement is an important milestone that brings our vision to new heights. We are pledged to the highest standards of education for all our students, delivering “Educational Excellence for Life and Leadership’.
