Tinmuk Rowing Club
Nestled within the esteemed Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone Rowing Park, the Tinmuk Rowing Club stands as a hub of excellence, uniquely recognised as China’s premier sports theme park dedicated to the art of rowing.
Situated along the tranquil Tinmuk River area, this club enjoys the distinction of being one of China’s select still-water venues ideal for rowing, spanning approximately 6000 meters in length and about 100 meters in width.
Since 2019, the Tinmuk Rowing Club has been the proud host of the esteemed Hengqin Elite Schools Rowing Invitation for several consecutive years, attracting participation from renowned institutions worldwide, including Yale University.
Constructed to meet international first-class rowing club standards by the Hengqin government, the Tinmuk Rowing Club features thoughtfully designed facilities, including boat storage, quality indoor training spaces, comfortable changing rooms, and a dedicated rowing dock.
Leading the Tinmuk Rowing Club is Head Coach Tang Shaowen, a seasoned mentor from Hong Kong, holding a Level 2 coaching certification from the esteemed Hong Kong Rowing Association. Assisting him is Coach Zhu Mingkun, the visionary founder of the Macau University Student Union Rowing Club, who brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the club’s coaching team.
